Liz Bates elevates the ThirdHome luxury brand with over 30 years of curating luxury travel experiences as a certified Travel & Event Planner and a licensed Global Travel Specialist. With her elite status of industry connections and a rich roster of industry partners, Liz offers our members extraordinary experiences and unique travel opportunities. Liz has been fortunate to have traversed the globe to over 65 countries, and her exposure to many diverse cultures provides members with a vast array of specialized niches of interests that exist around the world. Traveling the world has been Liz’s destined inheritance from day one. Between her father’s Southern roots in Tennessee to her mother’s land of Ancient Greece, she was born into an exotic, jet-setting way of life to parents who were global adventurers. It was only natural that her compass led her to purpose of working within the travel profession.

From Silicon Valley to Nashville’s Music Row, she has tailored memorable travel experiences for Fortune 500 CEOs, hit Music-Row entertainers and renowned celebrities. Liz earned her wings working for American Express Travel as a top-producing Pacesetter front-line agent, an Elite Team Leader and as a Branch Manager, all the while catering to discerning Platinum & Centurion Cardmembers. She gained her profound passion for nature and wildlife conservation while spearheading bespoke natural history travel programs for one of the world’s leaders in nature travel whose clientele were world-renowned naturalists and prestigious environmental protection organizations such as The Nature Conservancy, The Audubon Society, and the World Wildlife Foundation.
