THIRDHOME is the luxury property and travel club that enables its members to explore the world through a variety of travel experiences. Originally a luxury home exchange, it has evolved into the only travel brand that brings together a collective of trusted home owners, renters and adventurers who share a passion for discovery and demand an elevated experience.

CUSTOM TRAVEL SERVICE FEES

Please note: 45 days or more is required for all custom travel planning services.

All Specialty Services, Travel Planning, Enhance Your Stays & Curated Journeys are highly personalized vacation options provided by THIRDHOME Custom Travel which require extensive time to research, coordinate and provide expertly crafted itinerary options with quotes based on each member’s individual needs. Fee payments may sometimes be required upfront to proceed (OR) after an initial deposit is made (OR) sometimes the planning fee can be added to a member’s total trip cost invoice and paid at time of final payment due date.

  • Basic Trip Planning Consultation – COMPLIMENTARY: Need helpful tips and savvy travel expert advise for your planned travel destination? Consult for up to 30 minutes with THIRDHOME Director of Adventures and Custom Travel, Liz Bates. This level of service provides Club Members destination guidance. No custom travel planning quotes or travel package itineraries are provided with this option; this option is recommended for those who might prefer the “do-it-yourself” approach to vacation-planning.

  • Enhance Your Exchange Stay Travel Planning Fees vary from $50 – $100: This service is offered specifically to our Exchange Members who have a booked upcoming or a future planned Exchange stay in their desired destination. Gain unlimited collaboration time with Liz in planning every detail of your customized pre and post-stay needs, whether it’s extending a few days with hotel accommodations before or after your Exchange stay, where it’s in the same location, country or region (OR) if you wish to explore and add-on additional nearby destination extensions onto your Exchange stay making your vacation a longer more relaxed experience. In addition members will be invoiced for additional services and experiences added to their Enhance Your Stay, which will have separate payment terms communicated. Please Note: THIRDHOME Custom Travel planning fees are non-refundable.

  • NON Exchange Stay Custom Vacation (Curated Journey) Single Destination Planning Fee – $100: This service is if you already have a specific destination selected and you’re ready to start planning. Gain an in-depth collaboration with Liz to plan your personal journey and all that you wish to experience. Discuss your destination and all the immersive experiences available that can be incorporated into your trip that fit your specific interests. In addition members will be invoiced for additional services and experiences added to their Enhance Your Stay, which will have separate payment terms communicated. Please Note: THIRDHOME Custom Travel planning fees are non-refundable.

  • NON Exchange Stay Custom Vacation (Curated Journey) Multiple-Destinations (or Groups) Planning Fee – $200: This service offers a more extensive travel planning process and takes into consideration when you are not sure where you’d like to go and need to learn what the cost options would be when considering more than one destination (OR) if you are requiring travel planning for a larger family/friends group. Gain an in-depth collaboration with Liz to plan your personal journey and all that you wish to experience. Discuss your destination and all the immersive experiences available that can be incorporated into your trip that fit your specific interests. In addition members will be invoiced for additional services and experiences added to their Enhance Your Stay, which will have separate payment terms communicated. Please Note: THIRDHOME Custom Travel planning fees are non-refundable.

  • Last Minute & Holidays Planning Fee – $250: If a travel request is received with less than 45-days and/or you when your travel needs require our immediate attention; in addition this level of service applies to when you are traveling over a super-peak holiday periods, then this fee would also apply. In addition members will be invoiced for additional services and experiences added to their Enhance Your Stay, which will have separate payment terms communicated. Please Note: THIRDHOME Custom Travel planning fees are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations & Change Fees: Once a member confirms a custom travel package or any travel service with a paid deposit (or has paid in full already) with THIRDHOME Adventures & Custom Travel and/or including our supplier/vendor or tour/cruise operator partners, then any voluntary cancellations or changes that are requested by a member will result in penalty fees that are based on there unique operational terms & conditions including those of our own brand. It is normal practice for the majority of travel partners and brands to apply a 100% non-refundable policy with regards to deposit and/or final payments, including any changes/revisions that might be required will often incur change fees. In addition other penalties could apply per our THIRDHOME Adventures & Custom Travel’s Terms & Conditions.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

With all the unforeseen global and personal life-work circumstances that can arise, travelers should protect their travel vacation investment through the purchase of travel insurance protection. THIRDHOME Custom Travel HIGHLY RECOMMENDS all participants to purchase travel insurance at the time of confirming your final trip plans at the time of deposit, in order to comply with required travel insurance providers terms and conditions. One may opt to purchase travel insurance through either THIRDHOME Adventures & Custom Travel options offered (OR) with their own desired travel insurance provider, however insurance must be purchased within 7-days of your confirmed deposit. Proof of your purchase of travel insurance will be required to confirm and finalize your travels (we will require the member to email us their confirmation of travel insurance purchase within 7-days after deposit is processed). WHAT FORMS OF PAYMENT ARE ACCEPTED

THIRDHOME Adventures accepts all major credit cards. However, personal checks, Exchange Club monetary credits and Keys are not redeemable nor accepted for payment towards Custom Travel Services.
