Explore wetlands, Savannahs, Forests, Rivers to Encounter the Magnificent Seven & an enchanting Desert Oasis

Join us on an extraordinary Safari from Zimbabwe to Zambia that is uniquely our own, with an option to enjoy a finale extension into Namibia’s Desert.

Journey with us on a small-group immersive experience into the heart of the best game viewing regions through wetlands, savannahs, rivers and gorges – travel from Johannesburg to Zimbabwe’s stunning Victoria Falls along the Zambezi River with ample wildlife viewing opportunities on game drives and cruise safaris. While in Zambia, venture into “The Valley of the Leopard” located within the South Luangwa, to enjoy explorations within one of the most beautiful wildlife sanctuaries in the world. Considered to be one of the most game-rich areas in all of Africa – we often hear about the ‘Big Five’, but in Zambia we speak of the Magnificent Seven: lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino, cheetah and African wild dog. Five of these roam the South Luangwa and Lower Zambezi National Parks, where sightings are not just possible but frequent. Zambia’s wild places are rich with life at every turn. In the South Luangwa, the landscape shifts from riverine forest to open plains, teeming with zebra, puku, giraffe and wildebeest. In the Lower Zambezi, the river is the lifeblood of the ecosystem, drawing in elephant, hippo and buffalo, and offering glimpses of shy bushbuck at the water’s edge. Throughout this Safari journey, encounter a myriad of wildlife encounters by water and land, via boating safari explorations, 4×4 game drives, safari walks, including cultural immersion encounters in local villages.

This Adventure requires at least 12 people to operate at the price quoted; if less participants join this adventure then an increase in cost would occur, which ThirdHome will advise all participants.

ThirdHome strongly recommends that all participants purchase travel insurance in order to participate in an Adventure. Travel Insurance is required to be purchased at the time of deposit should you wish to be covered under the “Cancel for Any Reason” plan.

ThirdHome has partnered with USI Affinity Travel Insurance providing members full travel coverage with a discount – Click here to obtain a quote. Cancel for Any Reason insurance is required to be purchased within 14-days of confirming your participation (your paid Adventure deposit); otherwise Standard Insurance can be purchased at any time prior to your departure.

ThirdHome Adventures reserves the right to modify, change or cancel itinerary accommodations and/or alter tour routing and operations, if conditions beyond our control and that of our travel partners who operate our journeys, require such alterations thereof due to any unforeseen circumstances.

Any traveler that elects not to purchase travel insurance, agrees to release ThirdHome and its tour operation partners from liability for any loss of funds incurred due to the cancellation of a specific ThirdHome Adventure as a result of, but not limited to, an act of God, a failure to purchase travel insurance, the cessation of business with respect to a tour operator/ground operator partnered services, and/or the failure of a tour operator/ground operator to refund consumer deposits or payments following the cancellation of a ThirdHome Adventure or a material failure to complete the operation of any ThirdHome Adventure.
