Experience #3: Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge Kruger National Park
Sabi Sabi Earth Lodge is a safari haven introducing symbolizing a new era in luxury South African safari lodges – sculpted into a slope of the earth, almost invisible from its surroundings, the lodge uses texture, light and space to present a lodge like no other. It has been described as the most environmentally friendly lodge in Southern Africa. Just arriving at the Earth Lodge is a spectacular experience – it lies sunken into a slope of the earth, making it a surrealistic point of entry to your Sabi Sands safari experience. Its earthly architecture makes clever use of texture, space and light. Earth Lodge is a modern mix of water and earth, cool and warm tones of natural fibers with luxurious African style decor and a completely unusual safari vibe: in some ways the property is futuristic and in others, a stone-age cave. Led by expert guides, you will explore daily the landscape on foot and in 4×4 vehicles to discover the remarkable Sabi Sabi Private Game Reserve. Considered the most famous private game reserve of all and the best place to see leopard in the World, it offers a safari experience found nowhere else in the world.
